Sufring the web I found the following web site: http://twitter.com

In this site we can publish little posts, no more than 145 characters, with the goal of answering the question: What are You doing?.

It allows the publication from mobile phones, the web and other medias.

This site surprised me in the following points:

• The capacity to quickly create communities, contact networks and new forms of behaviors.
• How it takes advantage of the technology convergence and how it opens new
  doors to content publication (ej: from mobile phones).
• How a simple service/idea (answer the question What are You doing?) it is possible to create a high traffic site and to put in the eye and commentaries of many media.

The people is using Twitter not only to publish what are they doing but telling their state ("I am in a meeting…", "I need help…", and so on.) and this help their contacts to be aware about not disturb with cell calls, contact quickly for providing aid.

I think this service is one of many that are rising and taking advantage of the technology convergence.

It is necessary to follow it by seeing its growth and how people is using it.
